Hey, I’m April!
In early 2021, I found out I was pregnant.
I remember the joy, the fear, and the excitement…all wrapped up around the precious gift I was carrying in my womb. I can recall the first time I heard my little one’s heartbeat on a sonogram, can still feel my breath catch when I looked upon her face for the very first time.
And through the entirety of that year, the transformation into becoming a mother was the most beautiful experience I could have ever imagined.
At the time, my primary niche was centered around Destination Elopements + Weddings, but I was quickly learning that my true passion lay elsewhere. My shape was shifting into someone who was embracing this new path of motherhood with her entire being. I longed for something more. I wanted to tell stories like my own.
So here I am- a Harry Potter + Studio Ghibli loving, happily married nerd mom of 1 + a pup. An Adventurer. A Storyteller. And your new friend.
